Extravagant Work

“Oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust Him.” Ephesians 1:19 The Message

God wants to change our hearts to be like that of His Son, Jesus. Now that is an utterly extravagant work, in fact, some might think it an impossible work. But for God nothing is impossible, for He is the God of the impossible. He can and will do the impossible in our lives if we trust Him. That is our part in all this, to trust God. We must submit to the will of God and allow Him to work out this utter extravagance in our lives. Only when we trust Him will we allow Him to make the changes that He sees as necessary to our becoming like Jesus Christ. Let each of us take the time today to thank God for the utter extravagance that He is performing in our lives and continue to trust Him, that one day soon our hearts will be one with Jesus!
