The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast desert. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything. Deuteronomy 2:7

Time Investments
July 27, 2009 · Leave a Comment

There are days when I feel like if I squeeze one more thing into my day, I will go insane.
Balance is very important.
It has finally occurred to me that my family deserves more of my time than most anything else. Neglect in this area produces frail relationships.
God probably feels the same way about how much time I spend with my spiritual family.
So, here is the question. What can we do to increase spiritual family time and relationship investment?

Apollo 11

It has been fun this last week remembering the amazing Apollo 11 mission. Despite all our accomplishments, the mission to walk on the moon shows us how small we really are and how large God really is.
Telling the Story of Jesus

The Church is called to announce the Good News of Jesus to all people and all nations. Besides the many works of mercy by which the Church must make Jesus’ love visible, it must also joyfully announce the great mystery of God’s salvation through the life, suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The story of Jesus is to be proclaimed and celebrated. Some will hear and rejoice, some will remain indifferent, some will become hostile. The story of Jesus will not always be accepted, but it must be told.
We who know the story and try to live it out, have the joyful task of telling it to others. When our words rise from hearts full of love and gratitude, they will bear fruit, whether we can see this or not. - Henri Nouwen

There is a moral to this story, if I could remember how it goes.
Tell somebody about Jesus today.
